Job summary

Janicki Industries is an innovative aerospace company located in Hamilton, Washington, seeking an Experienced Metrology Technician to join the team on-site. The role involves reading blueprints, setting up tools, and performing precision metrology tasks on tooling fixtures and aerospace parts.

We value attention to detail, ability to work under pressure, and compliance with AS9100 and Nadcap standards. On-site work in Hamilton offers full-time scheduling with multiple shifts and opportunities

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required; college level or trade school education preferred.
• One or more years of experience in a metrology role.
• Must have effective verbal and written communication skills.
• US Citizenship or Legal Permanent Residency required due to ITAR/EAR regulations; ability to obtain US Secret Security Clearance.

Responsibilities

• Reads and understands blueprints, isometric drawings and work orders.
• Performs metrology tasks in tooling fixtures, precision weldments, machined surfaces and aerospace parts.
• Follows safety practices and works within 5S, AS9100 and Nadcap standards.
• Performs preventive maintenance on machines and facilities as required.
• Supports on-the-job training including AS9100 and Nadcap training.
