Job summary

Janicki Industries, an innovative aerospace employer in Bellingham, WA, seeks an Engineering Technician to support machining, fabricating, finishing or assembling tooling and production parts on-site.

The successful candidate will assist in end-item deliverables, review drawings and tolerances, and work with the Cell Manager to manage risk and schedules in a dynamic production environment. A US citizen or permanent resident is required.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in manufacturing engineering/engineering technology or similar.
• Familiar with Microsoft Office products and SAP; Catia and/or Unigraphics experience desirable.
• Strong verbal and written communication in English.

Responsibilities

• Assist in completing End Item Deliverables to meet Work Order Specifications.
• Review patterns, tools, and production parts; assess surface condition and tolerances.
• Inspect workpieces with GD&T.
• Review drawings and blueprints to obtain specifications and procedures.
• Work with Cell Manager to identify and mitigate production risks.
• Monitor project schedule to meet deadlines.
• Comply with Safety, 5S, AS9100, Nadcap standards.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Maintain punctuality and attendance.
