Job summary

Janicki Industries, an on-site aerospace engineering and manufacturing company in Sedro-Woolley, WA, seeks an Engineering Technician to support machining, composite fabrication, finishing, and assembly of tooling and production parts. The role requires metrology proficiency and aerospace finishing knowledge.

The successful candidate will assist in delivering end items per work orders, inspect with GD&T, review drawings, and collaborate with production teams to mitigate risks and meet schedules.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in manufacturing engineering/engineering technology or similar field.
• Must be familiar with Microsoft Office; SAP experience preferred; Catia/Unigraphics desirable.
• Strong understanding of GD&T and metrology for aerospace finishes.

Responsibilities

• Assist in producing end items to meet work order specifications.
• Approve patterns, tooling, or production parts and review metrology reports.
• Inspect workpieces with GD&T and review drawings and blueprints.
• Identify and mitigate production risks with the Cell Manager.
• Maintain schedule awareness to meet project deadlines.
• Adhere to Safety, 5S, AS9100, Nadcap standards and practices.
