Job summary

Raven Defense Corporation seeks a skilled Mechanical Technician to support fabrication, assembly, testing, and integration of complex mechanical and electro-mechanical systems for defense applications. Travel up to 30% and collaboration with engineers are integral to this hands-on role.

Requires a HS diploma or equivalent, hands-on assembly experience, and proficiency with tools and precise measuring devices. On-site work across multiple locations with safety and quality at the forefront.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• Hands-on experience in mechanical assembly, fabrication, or manufacturing.
• Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers, etc.).
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and work instructions.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment.
• Availability to work a minimum of 40 hours per week.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the fabrication, assembly, and integration of mechanical and electro-mechanical systems.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and technical documentation.
• Conduct mechanical system testing, troubleshooting, and adjustments to ensure functionality and performance.
• Utilize hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring instruments to perform assembly and modifications.
• Collaborate with engineers and technicians to support prototype development and system improvements.
• Maintain detailed records of assembly procedures, modifications, and test results.
• Follow safety guidelines, quality standards, and industry best practices.
• Assist in field testing and deployment of mechanical systems as needed.
