Top Echelon Software, LLC is seeking a Mechanical Quality Inspector for our precision manufacturing client near Springfield, MA. This direct-hire role on first or second shift includes a full benefits package and competitive compensation.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED required; vo-tech training a plus.
• Minimum 5 years' experience in manual inspection of close‑toleranced parts in an AS9100/ISO9001 environment.
• Ability to use manual inspection tools such as surface plates, calipers, micrometers, gauges, etc.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and operation sheets.
• Ability to write non-conformance reports.
• Good attention to detail and a focus on precision.

Responsibilities

• First piece, in-process, and final inspection of aerospace component parts using manual metrological devices.
• Review blueprints, drawings, and specifications for incoming parts.
• Analyze problems, initiate corrective action, and report results to Quality Manager.
• Verify machined parts meet specifications, identify and document non-conforming pieces.
• Update production documentation for inspection parts status.
• Communicate inspection results to Quality Manager and notify vendors of non-conformances.
