Job summary

Qualifications

• Experience performing mechanical inspections in aerospace or manufacturing
• Strong hands-on with calipers, micrometers, height gauges, thread gauges, and other inspection tools
• Proficiency in GD&T interpretation
• Surface plate inspections experience
• Proficient computer documentation and reporting
• U.S. Citizen and able to pass background check
• Hawthorne, CA commuting distance

Responsibilities

• Perform in-process and final inspections of mechanical and composite components
• Conduct visual and dimensional inspections using hand tools and surface plates
• Verify compliance to drawings, specifications, and GD&T requirements
• Inspect precision mechanical hardware for workmanship and dimensional accuracy
• Document inspection results and communicate nonconformances when identified
• Utilize computer systems for inspection, reporting, and documentation
• Support ongoing production quality activities in a fast-paced aerospace environment
