Job summary

A leading quality assurance service provider is seeking multiple skilled Mechanical Inspectors Level 1 to support inspection efforts at a facility in Hawthorne, CA. The ideal candidates will have experience in quality inspection within the aerospace industry, demonstrating the ability to independently validate criteria and conduct dimensional inspections. Responsibilities include visual inspections, measuring components, and ensuring compliance with engineering drawings. This is a full-time contract role for 3+ months with specific training provided.

Qualifications

• Experience inspecting mechanical parts, client-specific training provided.
• Proficiency in verifying products against drawing requirements.
• Ability to pass a background check and must be ITAR compliant.

Responsibilities

• Perform visual inspections of products for workmanship issues.
• Conduct outer diameter inspections for damage.
• Measure features using calipers and micrometers.
