Job summary

SQA Services is seeking a Quality Mechanical Inspector for Hawthorne, CA. This 6-month, full-time contract offers first or second shift on-site work. You will inspect mechanical and composite components, verify GD&T, document findings, and support aerospace production quality in a fast-paced environment.

Ideal candidates have an associate degree or higher, U.S. citizenship, and hands-on experience with inspection tools and surface plates. Background check required.

Qualifications

• Experience performing mechanical inspections in aerospace or manufacturing environments.
• Proficiency with calipers, micrometers, height gauges, thread gauges, and other inspection tools.
• GD&T interpretation and dimensional inspection proficiency.
• Experience inspecting on a surface plate.
• Comfortable using computers for documentation and reporting.
• U.S. Citizen and able to pass a background check.
• Located within commuting distance of Hawthorne, CA.
• Associate's degree or higher in a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Certification in inspection techniques or GD&T is a plus.
• Experience inspecting composite and precision machined aerospace components.
• Prior experience supporting source inspection or supplier quality activities.
• Experience working in high-volume or fast-paced aerospace production environments.

Position
