Eaton Aerospace’s Jackson, MS facility seeks a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to support the Maintenance Department. The role focuses on reliability, asset management, and improving uptime for hydraulic components and test equipment.

The successful candidate will design components, create ASME Y14 drawings, and collaborate across departments to integrate reliability into operations. ITAR compliance and 60‑mile relocation note apply.

Competenze

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Industrial Technology.
• At least 1 year of experience using 3D CAD software (AutoCAD preferred).
• Pneumatic and Hydraulic experience or field of study.
• ITAR – must be a U.S. person.

Mansioni

• Analyze data and identify potential problems; develop and implement solutions.
• Conduct root cause analysis of machine breakdowns to determine underlying causes.
• Improve uptime and availability of test and machine equipment.
• Prepare detailed drawings adhering to ASME Y14 standards.
• Coordinate activities with project/senior engineers per schedules.
• Assist with spare parts inventory and capital upgrades for equipment.
