Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering from an accredited institution.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a manufacturing quality environment.
• Minimum 1 year of people leadership experience.
• ITAR: U.S. person; no immigration sponsorship.
• Relocation not provided; reside within 50 miles of Jackson, MI.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, implement, and improve safe and environmentally responsible manufacturing processes.
• Utilize MESH and industry standards to meet quality specifications (AS9100, NADCAP).
• Implement Lean Six Sigma tools to improve processes and cost.
• Coordinate and prioritize ME activities to focus on quality, cost, and delivery.
• Lead focus factory activities including CapEx and regulatory compliance.
• Design equipment and tooling using CATIA; collaborate with suppliers to procure.
• Establish robust machine sign-off criteria for customer needs.
• Mentor Manufacturing Engineers in competencies and lean concepts.
• Troubleshoot and improve assembly/testing processes; pursue cost-out opportunities.
• Collect and analyze manufacturing data to drive process improvements.
• Manage budgets for manufacturing and process improvement projects.
• Support ProLaunch and Transition projects for flawless rollouts.
