Job summary

Beyond New Horizons is offering a seasonal aerospace, electrical, and mechanical engineering internship at Tunnel 9 in Silver Spring, MD. Interns work 10 to 12 weeks, collaborate with experienced engineers, and gain hands-on experience through assigned projects that support Air Force and BNH missions.

Interns will present briefings to senior management, develop CAD drawings, test instrumentation, and participate in data analysis and software debugging tasks under supervision.

Qualifications

• Must be currently enrolled in an accredited university pursuing a relevant engineering degree.
• Potential candidates should meet the minimum GPA and class-year requirements stated.

Responsibilities

• Support multiple engineering projects across aerospace, electrical, and mechanical domains.
• Assist with data collection, instrumentation, and test article support in Tunnel 9 operations.
• Develop and modify CAD drawings and electrical schematics as needed.
• Document work, brief management, and contribute to safety and reliability analyses.
