Job summary

You will create 3D models and detailed drawings for production, analyzing fit and manufacturability, and collaborating with electrical/software engineers on integration. The role requires experience in designing manufactured assemblies, strong problem-solving, and excellent communication.

Qualifications

  • Requires experience in mechanical engineering within manufacturing or product development.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to read, interpret and create engineering drawings and documentation.
  • Experience designing fabricated assemblies, structural components and mechanical systems.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

  • Design mechanical systems and assemblies including structural components and sheet metal.
  • Develop 3D models, drawings, and documentation for manufacturing.
  • Perform design analysis for fit, form, function, and manufacturability.
  • Collaborate with electrical and software engineers for system integration.
  • Support manufacturing with design clarifications, prototyping, and production troubleshooting.
  • Participate in design reviews and assist with testing and validation of mechanical systems.
  • Perform other duties to support engineering and production goals.
