The position involves using SolidWorks to create detailed mechanical designs and mentor junior engineers. The ideal candidate will have 3 to 7 years of experience in mechanical design and a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering. U.S. citizenship is required due to federal contract obligations. Qualifications

• 3 to 7 years of practical experience in mechanical design.
• Experience in manufacturing processes, machining, welding, and sheet metal fabrication.
• Strong knowledge of detailed mechanical mechanism design.

Responsibilities

• Produce mechanical designs that are manufacturable and reliable.
