Job summary

PPG Industries is seeking a Business Process Manager, Supply Chain – Aerospace Materials in the United States. The role focuses on optimizing inventory and customer service within the Aerospace SBU, with emphasis on MRP settings and standard work across regions.

The position involves leading supply chain improvements, collaborating with regional and global teams, and delivering best practices across sites. On-site four days a week with remote Fridays; reports to Global Supply Chain Director.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, supply chain, or another analytical discipline required.
• Minimum of 6 years of experience in demand planning, forecasting, or supply chain analytics required.
• Proficiency with QAD or other ERP systems and strong Excel skills preferred.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data.

Responsibilities

• Lead and direct analysis to deliver efficiencies and simplicity in supply chains.
• Provide guidance to local supply chain teams to establish standard work and best practices.
• Stay updated with supply chain direction and contribute to strategic customer outcomes.
• ERP subject matter expert, standardizing ERP tools, data structure, and processes.
• Collaborate with multi-site teams to align MRP settings with S&OP forecasts.
• Monitor KPIs and drive corrective actions to deviations from plan.
• Document processes across sites and manage implementation projects.
• Deliver process improvements that improve business results.
