Qualifications

• Continuous Web Processing Converting, Coating & Lamination knowledge.
• Aerospace qualification & testing.
• Project management with cross-functional coordination.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Technical Fellowship mentorship & knowledge transfer (shadow role).
• Absorb institutional knowledge regarding R&D polymer chemistry, adhesive formulations, web handling, and lamination/coating processes.
• Progressively take ownership of SME responsibilities related to FAA directives and OEM standards.
• Develop standardized engineering design guides, material selection criteria, and best practices.
• Participate in IP reviews, supporting patent filings and technical documentation.
• Maintain BOMs, Technical Data Sheets, and manufacturing process specifications.
• Lead process optimization, cost reduction, and supplier material sourcing initiatives.
• Lead NPI project execution from raw materials to qualification and launch.
• Collaborate with customer engineering teams (Boeing, Airbus, Embraer) to translate requirements into specs.

Education

Bachelor of Science in Engineering (Materials Science, Chemical, Plastics/Polymers, Mechanical) or related technical discipline
