Job summary

Triumph Group is seeking a Materials Process Engineer to maintain, improve, and advance core composite, film, scrim, and laminate technologies for Triumph Interiors. The role balances hands-on material and process engineering with strategic product development, customer interface, and regulatory oversight across cover film laminate product lines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Engineering required.
• Experience with web-processing or composites preferred.
• Regulatory knowledge including FAA/EA standards and ITAR compliance is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Mentor and transfer knowledge from Tech Fellow; develop SME capabilities in Fire Retardant Materials and processes.
• Maintain BOMs and technical data sheets; ensure regulatory compliance across materials and processes.
• Drive process optimization, cost reduction, and material sourcing for laminates and coatings.
• Lead new product development and coordinate with customers (e.g., Boeing, Airbus, Embraer) to translate requirements into material specs.
