Professional Plastics, Inc. is seeking a proactive Materials Manager to oversee purchasing, inventory control, material planning, and supplier coordination for aerospace and plastic fabrication operations.

You will ensure materials and outside services meet production schedules and customer delivery commitments, manage NetStock-based planning, OSS and VMI coordination, and maintain accurate inventory records.

Formación

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 1–3 years of experience in a purchasing role.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Outlook, Excel and specialized inventory management or ERP systems.
• Experience in purchasing, materials management, inventory control, or supply chain in manufacturing.
• Experience supporting aerospace manufacturing, plastic fabrication, or related operations.
• Strong understanding of inventory planning, reorder points, safety stock, and long supplier lead times.

Responsabilidades

• Procure raw materials, stock, adhesives, coatings, hardware, and production supplies.
• Monitor lead times and place purchase orders to prevent shortages.
• Manage NetStock inventory planning and replenishment.
• Track shelf-life, FEFO, and ensure traceability.
• Coordinate outside processing (OSP) orders and VMI activities.
• Communicate material availability and risks to teams.
