Job summary

Greenpoint Technologies seeks an experienced Materials Planner to coordinate engineering documentation review and material procurement for VIP aircraft interiors. You will validate material callouts, assess manufacturability, and optimize procurement schedules through informed material selection.

Key duties include maintaining BOMs in the MRP system, reviewing drawings, and leading the planning team to support production schedules.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 7 years related experience in aerospace VIP interiors.
• Ability to read, analyze and interpret complex engineering drawings.
• Experience with procurement of raw materials, parts, and commodities for VIP interiors.
• Strong planning, time management, and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintains and analyzes BOM in the MRP system to initiate purchasing for materials and parts.
• Reviews engineering drawings and calculates material requirements; builds BOMs.
• Leads planning to support production and schedules.
• Trains and mentors staff.
• Tracks engineering drawing accuracy and communicates root causes to engineering.
