Job summary

Sonaca North America is seeking a Raw Materials Handler to manage shipping, receiving, delivery and inventory daily. You will load and unload trucks, unpack crates, verify items, and document conditions, while maintaining safety and quality standards.

You will also support production operations, perform 6S/Lean activities, and drive deliveries as needed, with 10% local travel. A high school diploma or equivalent and forklift training are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; pre-employment assessment if not available.
• 1–3 months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Must obtain forklift license and valid driver''s license with clean record.
• Ability to read and interpret basic work orders and drawings; operate basic office software.
• Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds; work in fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform Shipping, Receiving, Delivery and Inventory daily activities.
• Load/Unload trucks using forklift, pallet jack, or hand truck per safety regs.
• Unpack crates and boxes; check items for accuracy and damage; document findings.
• Place on-hold incorrect/defective items or incomplete paperwork; coordinate corrections.
• Process system transactions related to Shipping, Receiving, and bin transferring.
• Assist production operations including roll-forming skin panels.
• Conduct Lean and 6S functions; assist with root-cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Drive delivery truck as needed to customer sites; ensure on-time deliveries and proper paperwork.
