Pratt & Whitney in Middletown, PA is hiring a Material Handler for the 3rd shift (Sun-Fri, 10pm-6am). You will transport airfoils, track inventory, and move product between operations while maintaining clean trays to prevent FOD.

Responsibilities include loading/unloading, washing and drying airfoil trays, and following shop floor visual controls. Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED and basic computer skills; U.S. citizenship required due to government contracts.

Qualifications

• U.S. Citizenship required due to government contracts.
• Have basic computer experience.
• Dependability and task oriented and require minimal oversight.

Responsibilities

• Transport airfoils in trays from cell to cell.
• Move airfoils in trays about 95% of the shift.
• Wash and dry airfoil trays to avoid FOD.
• Wash and dry airfoils per requirements.
• Track production inventory throughout the facility.
• May carry out additional tasks to support department objectives.
• Move product/trays weighing up to 25 lbs using proper lifting devices.
• Learn and follow shop floor visual controls.
