Job summary

Pratt & Whitney is seeking a Materials Servicer B for the 2nd shift, onsite in Middletown, CT. The role involves shipping, receiving, storing and distributing materials, with emphasis on accuracy and safety practices.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or Equivalent (GED).
• 2 years minimum material handling experience using PIV or equivalent equipment, with full cycle inventory experience.

Responsibilities

• Receive, store, issue and transport materials, ensuring accurate documentation and electronic entry.
• Perform pick/pack, kitting and shipping to meet in-plant and external customer requirements.
• Maintain and operate centralized cribs, automated dispensing equipment and storage systems.
• Maintain accurate inventory levels and perform physical counts with record adjustments.
• Follow all packing methods to prevent damage during transport.
• Provide material transportation services and secure loads for transit.
• Obtain and maintain licenses/certifications for area equipment as required.
