Job summary

Triumph Engine Control Systems is seeking an Expeditor in the Planning Group in West Hartford, CT. The role will review production schedules and material status, expediting movement of materials across purchasing, suppliers, receiving and production to meet production needs.

Ideal candidates have 3–5 years of expediting experience in manufacturing, an associate degree or equivalent, and strong Excel skills.

Qualifications

Associates’ degree or equivalent required.
3–5 years’ experience expediting in a manufacturing environment.
Detail-oriented with strong math and analytical skills.
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Proficient in MS Excel; JD Edwards experience a plus.

Responsibilities

Review production schedules, inventory reports, and work orders to determine material needs.
Expedite movement of materials between purchasing, suppliers, receiving, and production.
Inform teams of material status and escalate shortages to management.
Reconcile discrepancies in received materials and verify part numbers.
Maintain inventory and production records.
