Votaw Precision Technologies in Santa Fe Springs, CA seeks a seasoned purchasing/estimating professional to lead cost takeoffs, BOMs, and supplier quotes for aerospace-focused projects. This hybrid role supports proposals and post-award purchasing.

You will read complex prints (GD&T), negotiate with suppliers, and ensure on-time delivery while maintaining traceability and ITAR/AS9100/ISO compliance.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a relevant field.
• 5–7+ years in purchasing, estimating, or materials management in aerospace.
• Strong print reading including GD&T and outside-processing knowledge.
• Experience with ERP/MRP systems and BOM structures.
• Excellent negotiation and vendor-management skills.

Responsabilidades

• Analyze drawings/specs to determine material type, form, sizes, quantities, and yield.
• Identify outside processes and develop cost estimates and schedule assumptions.
• Solicit, compare, and analyze supplier quotes; select optimal sources.
• Build costed BOMs and quotes with risk/assumptions logs.
• Maintain pricing database for key materials and OSP services.
• Issue POs and manage complex buys per policy; coordinate with teams.
• Review requisitions and expedite to meet operations schedules.
• Negotiate pricing, delivery, and terms; evaluate vendor performance.
• Ensure on-time part delivery; escalate risks and communicate status.
• Drive continuous improvement in quoting/buying procedures.
