Job summary

Redwire Space Missions, LLC is seeking a Temporary Manufacturing Technician II to support development, production, quality, and continuous improvement of space hardware at our Littleton, CO facility. You will fabricate and validate hardware, assist engineers, and help maintain documentation.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years in aerospace manufacturing, strong mechanical skills, and proficiency with MS Office. The role requires lifting up to 50 lb and willingness to work a 7:30 AM–4:00 PM schedule,

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent plus advanced training.
• 2+ years experience in Aerospace manufacturing.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and general shop experience.
• Intermediate computer skills including Microsoft Office 365.
• Able to work Mon-Fri with occasional weekends to meet shipping dates and some late days.
• Must be able to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
• US Citizen or US Person per ITAR regulations.
• Shift: Mon-Fri 7:30 to 4:00pm.

Responsibilities

• Fabrication and validation of critical flight hardware, including mechanical and electrical assembly and flight ground support equipment.
• Assist engineers in flight/prototype hardware manufacture/test infrastructure development and documentation.
• Identify and communicate non-conformances to engineering and quality assurance.
• Collaborate with facilities and maintenance to ensure production equipment is maintained and repaired timely.
• Work with manufacturing engineering to optimize manufacturing orders and ensure process instructions are understood.
