Redwire Space in Goleta, CA is seeking a Manufacturing Technician III to join our team focused on fabrication and validation of critical flight hardware. The role involves mechanical and electrical assembly, testing and supporting production processes, with potential travel up to 5%.

Ideal candidates hold a High School Diploma or equivalent with advanced training and current Solder, Harnessing/Crimping certification to J-STD-001 with Space Application Electronics Hardware and NASA 8739.4

Responsibilities

• Fabrication and validation of critical flight hardware, including mechanical assembly, electrical assembly, and flight Ground Support Equipment; per associated flight drawings, procedures, quality standards and internal training.
• Assist engineers in flight / prototype hardware manufacture / test infrastructure development, documentation of assembly, test procedures and other specified tasks.
• Identify and communicate non-conformances to engineering and quality assurance.
• Work with facilities and maintenance to ensure that production equipment is maintained and repaired in a timely manner.
• Work with manufacturing engineering to optimize manufacturing orders and ensure process instructions are understood.

We have current opportunity for a Manufacturing Technician lIl to join our team in Goleta, CA. The Manufacturing Technician III performs testing, modifying, reworking, and repairing of mechanical and or electronic assemblies. There is a possibility of up to 5% travel based on program needs.
