Job summary

Redwire is seeking a Contractor - Manufacturing Technician II to support development, production, quality, and continuous improvement of space hardware at our Littleton, CO facility. The role involves mechanical and electrical assembly, test support, and collaboration with engineers to meet deadlines.

We require at least 2 years in aerospace manufacturing or a similar setting, strong mechanical aptitude, and proficiency with common shop tools.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent required.
• 2+ years in Aerospace manufacturing or similar role preferred.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and shop experience.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Fabrication and validation of flight hardware per drawings, procedures, and standards.
• Assist engineers in flight hardware manufacture and test infrastructure development.
• Identify non-conformances and communicate with engineering and QA.
• Maintain and repair production equipment with facilities/maintenance.
• Work with manufacturing engineering to optimize orders and instructions.
