Job summary

RTX in West Des Moines is seeking a manufacturing technician to learn and perform setup, inspection, and documentation tasks for assembly and calibration processes. You will follow procedures, record test results, and support continuous improvement initiatives in a fast-paced production environment.

The role emphasizes adherence to safety and quality standards, reading prints, and collaborating with team members.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma required; in absence of diploma, 2 years of relevant experience.
• Manufacturing experience preferred.
• Ability to read and understand prints.
• Effective communication with all levels of staff and management.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate basic production equipment.
• Follow procedures and specifications for test and assembly tasks.
• Complete production documentation accurately.
• Assist in disassembly, repair, and reassembly per specs.
• Support adherence to EHS, Quality, and CI guidelines.
• Participate in Continuous Improvement and safety activities.
• May work overtime or nonstandard hours as needed.
• Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM.
