Job summary

PDS Tech Commercial in Hanover, MD is seeking a Manufacturing Technician to join a contract role focused on aerospace panel fabrication and flight hardware assembly. You will work on honeycomb panels, read engineering drawings, and use hand tools to meet stringent quality standards.

The position offers a full-time schedule (Mon-Fri, 9X80) with a pay rate of $31.88 per hour and ITAR/EAR compliance. You will collaborate with engineering and manufacturing teams to drive operational excellence and

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED.
Minimum of 2 years of honeycomb panel fabrication or aerospace mechanical assembly experience.
Ability to read, understand, and follow manufacturing instructions and technical procedures.
Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.

Responsibilities

Perform aerospace panel consolidation operations including honeycomb core preparation and adhesive bonding.
Fabricate flight hardware using engineering drawings and process specs.
Ensure dimensional accuracy and workmanship throughout manufacturing.
Support inspection, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Collaborate with engineers on equipment setup and process development.
Conduct rework and quality testing to meet production standards.
Operate tools and machinery for metals, composites, and wood.
Maintain safety, quality, and compliance standards.
