Job summary

Rubbercraft is seeking a Manufacturing Technician (2nd Shift) in Long Beach, CA to perform nonstandard and highly detailed tasks in composite manufacturing for aviation molds, tools, and parts.

You will assemble products, perform mold and curing operations, and ensure compliance with FAA regulations and company processes. Strong attention to detail and hands-on tool skills are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Requires 1-2+ years of relevant experience in composite manufacturing or repair.
• High School Diploma/GED or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Proficiency in operating electrical lab test equipment.

Responsibilities

• Assemble products using fasteners, adhesives, sealants and standard tools.
• Perform mold preparation, sealing, and release tasks.
• Laminate and vacuum bag customer products per engineering data and quality requirements.
• Cure parts using ovens, autoclaves, and presses.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area.
• Adhere to travelers, build manuals, and quality procedures.
