Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering discipline.

Responsibilities

• Serve as technical contact for parts and suppliers; mitigate manufacturing and quality risk.
• Review issues to root cause; drive changes at supplier or SpaceX; re-source as needed.
• Drive improvements to manufacturing and lead times via drawings and process updates.
• Create and disposition issue tickets; support cross-functional teams.
• Become primary contact for supply chain defects on assigned parts.
• Collaborate with procurement to identify exceptional suppliers meeting takt times.
• Conduct DFM reviews early in NPI to ensure manufacturability.
• Lead NPI of new parts and assemblies; select manufacturing methods; ramp to rate.
