Job summary

Collins Aerospace, a RTX company, seeks an onsite Manufacturing Supervisor in Santa Isabel, PR to lead daily production and a team of operators in a fast-paced aerospace environment.

You will oversee shop floor activities, scheduling, and performance, driving safety, quality, delivery and cost improvements while partnering with cross-functional teams. A university degree and 2+ years in manufacturing are expected, with English/Spanish proficiency.

Qualifications

• University degree or equivalent; minimum 2 years in a technical/operational role.
• Experience communicating in English and Spanish, written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily manufacturing operations, shop floor activities, workforce management, and production flow to meet safety, quality, and delivery goals.
• Lead and coach production staff; assign work, set priorities, monitor performance, and foster development.
• Coordinate schedules, staffing, and workflow to meet customer commitments and maximize efficiency.
• Monitor metrics, identify gaps, and implement corrective actions to improve productivity and reduce downtime.
• Ensure quality systems by documenting and supporting audits and CAPAs.
• Partner with Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain, Maintenance, and other functions to resolve issues.
• Support continuous improvement and cost-reduction initiatives across manufacturing.
• Coordinate material availability and logistics to minimize disruptions.
• Foster a safety-first culture and comply with EH&S standards.
