Astra is seeking an early-career quality engineer to support aerospace manufacturing. You will drive inspection rigor, investigate nonconformances, and implement process improvements that protect mission success.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, or related discipline.
• 5+ years in a high-reliability manufacturing environment (aerospace/defense/medical devices).
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and GD&T.
• Experience with inspection techniques and quality documentation practices.

Responsabilidades

• Partner with manufacturing to ensure hardware is built and inspected to requirements.
• Support in-process inspections and verification for propulsion and structural hardware.
• Interpret drawings and specifications to verify compliance.
• Support incoming, in-process, and final acceptance inspections.
• Develop inspection criteria, plans, and acceptance docs.
