Job summary

AST SpaceMobile is seeking a Quality Engineer to develop and implement methods to inspect, test, and evaluate the reliability of manufacturing processes, products, and production equipment.

You will support inspection plans, Material Review Boards, failure review boards, and root cause corrective actions while collaborating with cross-functional teams and supplier quality engineers to address non-conforming materials and improve product quality.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and quality management software.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Support to develop and implement/deploy quality inspection plans and checklist for receiving inspection, in process inspection, and final inspection
• Support Material Review Boards, Failure Review Boards, ensure disposition of discrepant materials by the cross-functional team.
• Support Root Cause and Corrective Actions with the cross functional team to identify discrepancy drivers and assist with the development and implementation of corrective actions.
• Collaborate with supplier quality engineers to facilitate root cause and corrective actions at the supplier regarding non-conforming and discrepant materials.
