Job summary

RTX in Cedar Rapids is seeking a driven project coordination professional to oversee Customer Returned Goods (CRG) operations. You will manage daily schedules, floor communications, and metrics to improve on-time delivery and procurement alignment.

Work with floor supervisors and project managers to develop detailed plans, identify risks, and drive continuous improvement in aerospace operations. The role offers exposure to a broad benefits program and a culture of safety and collaboration.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or advanced degree program related to Manufacturing Engineering, Project Management, Operations, Business, or STEM.
• Experience with Excel, PowerPoint and productivity tools.
• Experience delivering presentations using data visualization to communicate metrics to cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Track progress and resolve obstacles to minimize disruption to CRG on-time delivery schedules.
• Coordinate daily material shortages for the Service Center.
• Coordinate GS and DCMA on-time deliveries for Factory and Service Center.
• Identify and address product flow problems and propose resolutions to improve efficiency.
• Assess issues and develop resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and customer satisfaction goals.
• Maintain and update CRG monthly metrics; assist in financial analysis of transfer rates and direct expenses.
• Create and maintain detailed project plans, timelines, and milestones.
• Identify potential risks, find solutions, and resolve delays.
