DRT Aerospace, located in Sidney, OH, is seeking a hands-on Manufacturing Process Engineer to lead CNC programming, process development, and shop-floor support for precision-machined aerospace components.

You will collaborate across Engineering, Production, Quality, and external suppliers to develop robust manufacturing processes, drive improvements, and ensure production readiness. A strong background in CAD/CAM, GD&T, and continuous improvement is essential for success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related field; 5–10 years in Manufacturing Engineering.
• Experience developing processes for precision-machined components.
• Strong CNC machining, tooling, fixturing, and process optimization knowledge.
• Ability to read and interpret complex drawings; proficient with GD&T.
• Experience with CAD/CAM systems (Mastercam, Siemens NX; NX CAD).
• Excellent communication and project management skills.

Responsabilités

• Develop and optimize manufacturing processes for precision-machined components.
• Determine methods, operation sequences, tooling, fixturing, inspection requirements, and outside processing needs.
• Create routings, setup instructions, and process documentation.
• Generate cost estimates and support quoting activities.
• Provide daily engineering support to production and troubleshoot issues.
• Develop CNC strategies and NC programs using Mastercam or Siemens NX.
