Job summary

Pratt & Whitney North Berwick is offering a hands-on training path to become a Certified Operator. The program includes a 3-week training and 4–8 weeks on-the-job training for NC milling/grinding setup and operation.

You'll learn to verify finished parts with precision instruments, work with engineers and quality teams, and advance through an FAA-regulated, safety-conscious environment on a Monday-Thursday night shift. Competitive benefits accompany the role.

Qualifications

• High School or GED required with basic math skills.
• Familiar with precision measuring equipment.
• Strong verbal and written communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Learn to set up and operate NC milling/grinding machines.
• Train to verify conformance of finished work with precision instruments.
• Work with engineers and QA to resolve machining issues.
• Maintain machines through preventive maintenance.
• Obtain operator certification to accept/reject parts.
