Chromalloy in Windsor, CT is seeking a Senior Manager, Manufacturing Operations to lead aerospace manufacturing and repair operations, driving safety, quality, delivery, productivity, and cost performance across product lines.

This role links customer commitments with operational execution and business performance, translating demand into executable plans and ensuring readiness, capacity, throughput, and on-time delivery.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of leadership experience in aerospace manufacturing or a similarly regulated environment.
• Demonstrated success leading production operations with safety, quality, delivery, and cost improvements.
• Strong knowledge of production scheduling, capacity planning, labor management, and operational excellence principles.
• Experience using KPIs and data-driven decision making to improve performance.
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and execute complex priorities.
• Financial acumen including budget management and productivity improvement.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily manufacturing and repair operations while ensuring safety, quality, regulatory, and customer requirements.
• Own the operational budget/P&L for assigned product lines, driving revenue, margin, cost control, and inventory optimization.
• Translate customer demand and forecasts into staffing, scheduling, and capacity plans.
• Drive throughput and readiness to meet production schedules and on-time delivery targets.
• Partner with Planning, Supply Chain, Quality, Engineering, and Commercial teams to remove barriers and improve performance.
• Monitor KPI s including OTD, schedule attainment, productivity, inventory turns, and labor efficiency.
• Identify operational risks and implement mitigation plans related to capacity, materials, staffing, and commitments.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives to increase efficiency and capacity.
• Lead root cause analysis and corrective actions for quality, delivery, and productivity issues.
• Develop and coach leaders and employees while fostering accountability and engagement.
• Represent operations during customer visits, audits, business reviews, and leadership presentations.
