Job summary

Capewell Aerial Systems LLC in South Windsor, CT seeks a Director of Operations to lead manufacturing operations, optimize processes, and guide budget planning. The role reports to the President and GM, supervising multiple managers and production staff to ensure safe, compliant, and efficient production.

The ideal candidate has a strong aerospace machining background, 10+ years of leadership, and extensive ERP experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, engineering or related field.
• 10+ years of related experience with strong leadership.
• Experience managing operations in a manufacturing setting.
• Background with ERP systems and manufacturing regulations.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Define, implement, and revise operational policies to improve day-to-day operations.
• Oversee manufacturing; coordinate with purchasing and sales to meet goals.
• Maintain AS-9100 Quality Management System and ensure compliance.
• Plan, direct, and forecast budgets and cost of sales across divisions.
• Lead cross-functional teams to improve processes and drive productivity.
