Job summary

Skills Inc. in Auburn, WA is seeking a Manufacturing Helper (1st Shift, Mon-Fri 7:00am-3:30pm) to support manufacturing operations, including CNC, Press Brake, Water jet, Deburr, Sand Blasting, and Saw processes. You will assist with setup, verify specifications on work orders, and move finished parts to downstream teams.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or GED, can read blueprints, perform basic math, and follow safety procedures. Skills Inc.

Qualifications

• Read blueprints and specifications to determine component parts and assembly sequences.
• Read and interpret documents such as work orders, drawings, and specifications.
• Perform mid-level math calculations accurately for part dimensions.
• Identify potential issues with machinery, processes or parts.
• Follow supervisor directions to complete tasks.
• Communicate information clearly with coworkers and supervision.

Responsibilities

• Set up/Operate CNC equipment as needed.
• Set up/Operate Press Brake equipment as needed.
• Set up/Operate Sand Blast equipment as needed.
• Set up/Operate Masking/Mylar equipment as needed.
• Set up/Operate Deburr equipment as needed.
• Set up/Operate Counter­sink Table as needed.
• Set up/Operate Saw Machine as needed.
• Set up/Operate Hot Forming processes as needed.
• Work closely with Machine operators on day-to-day duties.
• Use work orders to verify materials, lines, tolerances and dimensions.
• Inspect parts/products to ensure compliance to specifications.
