Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Manufacturing Engineering leader to guide a high‑mix, low‑volume CNC machining and assembly team for aerospace parts. You’ll own the strategic roadmap for process capability, NPI, and capital equipment while working hands‑on on the shop floor to resolve daily production challenges.

You’ll report to the Plant Manager and partner with Quality, Operations, Supply Chain, and Program Management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
• 7+ years in aerospace or precision machining with 3+ years in leadership.
• Experience with Lean/Six Sigma and AS9100 quality systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop Manufacturing Engineers and technicians toward best-in-class performance.
• Champion Lean/Six Sigma projects that raise productivity and safety.
• Drive process design and validation for new product launches and engineering changes.
• Manage capital equipment projects from business case through installation and PPAP.
• Analyze production data, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions.
• Ensure compliance with AS9100, ITAR, and customer/regulatory requirements.
