Job summary

You will partner with cross-functional teams to evaluate designs for manufacturability, safety, and cost, apply Lean Six Sigma, and manage budgets.

Qualifications

• Requires a Bachelor's Degree and 9+ years of Manufacturing Engineering experience or 7+ years with a Graduate Degree, or 13+ years without a degree.
• 5 years leadership experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead new product introductions and manage transitions across EMD, LRIP, and FRP.
• Coach Manufacturing Engineers through development, performance, and daily engagement.
• Build a high-performing team culture focused on learning, ownership, and problem-solving.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize manufacturability, safety, and cost.
• Apply Lean Six Sigma to drive improvements across the value stream.
• Lead process optimization and manufacturing readiness reviews.
• Set and track safety, quality, productivity, and cost targets.
• Develop departmental budgets and resource plans.
• Support production operations to meet quality and performance requirements.
• Interface with design engineering to align product specs with production capabilities.
• Travel: 10% to L3Harris sites, customers, and suppliers.
