Job summary

BestLogic Staffing is seeking an experienced Manufacturing Engineering Manager for an aerospace manufacturing client. The role leads a team of engineers to drive process improvements, CAD/production documentation, and lean initiatives.

You will collaborate across engineering, operations, quality, and supply chain to optimize cost, quality, and throughput while maintaining high standards. A strong leadership background and aerospace experience are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering preferred (Associate's Degree considered with relevant experience).
• Minimum 5 years of Manufacturing Engineering experience.
• Previous leadership or supervisory experience.
• Experience in aerospace or precision manufacturing environments.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and production planning.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of Manufacturing Engineers.
• Develop and maintain Bills of Materials (BOMs).
• Evaluate and improve manufacturing methods, workflows, and production processes.
• Estimate production times, labor requirements, equipment needs, and manufacturing costs.
• Create and maintain CAD models and manufacturing documentation using CATIA V5 or similar CAD software.
• Generate engineering drawings and product structures that accurately reflect customer requirements.
• Establish manufacturing tolerances and process documentation.
• Support production and subcontractors with engineering solutions and technical guidance.
• Coordinate engineering priorities with Operations, Quality, Purchasing, and Production teams.
• Drive Lean Manufacturing and Kaizen initiatives focused on quality, efficiency, and waste reduction.
• Resolve manufacturing challenges through analytical problem-solving and continuous improvement.
• Ensure compliance with company safety and quality standards.

Position Summary
