Job summary

Southwest Connecticut aerospace and precision manufacturing group is seeking a Multi-Site Engineering Manager to lead manufacturing engineering across two facilities. The role focuses on hands-on engineering leadership, process improvement, and supporting new product introductions, with close collaboration with Operations, Quality and site leadership.

Ideal candidates will have 5+ years in aerospace/defence or advanced metal manufacturing, strong background in manufacturing/process engineering,

Strong background in manufacturing/process engineering.
Experience improving manufacturing efficiency, quality and process capability.

Responsibilities

Lead and coordinate manufacturing engineering activities across two facilities.
Provide technical leadership to engineering teams and manufacturing operations.
Develop and improve manufacturing processes, tooling and production methods.
Support new product introduction, process development and production readiness.
Identify and resolve manufacturing challenges affecting quality, productivity and delivery.
Drive improvements in process capability, cycle times, scrap, rework and efficiency.
Establish consistent engineering practices across both facilities.
