Job summary

Accounting Search is seeking an experienced Manufacturing Engineering Manager for a premier aerospace client. The role leads a team of manufacturing engineers, improves production methods, and drives continuous improvement across operations.

The ideal candidate will have 5+ years in manufacturing engineering, aerospace experience, and strong leadership and CAD/documentation skills. This on-site role in the New York area offers career growth and competitive compensation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field is required; Associate's degree considered with relevant experience.
• Minimum 5 years of Manufacturing Engineering experience and prior leadership or supervisory roles.
• Experience in aerospace or precision manufacturing environments is preferred.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and production planning is essential.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of Manufacturing Engineers.
• Develop and maintain Bills of Materials (BOMs).
• Evaluate and improve manufacturing methods, workflows, and production processes.
• Estimate production times, labor requirements, equipment needs, and costs.
• Create CAD models and manufacturing documentation using CATIA V5 or similar.
• Coordinate engineering priorities with Operations, Quality, Purchasing, and Production.
