Job summary

RTX’s Collins Aerospace unit seeks a Manufacturing Engineering Intern to support production teams and solve manufacturing challenges on site in Minnesota. You will work with cross‑functional teams, applying engineering knowledge and collaborating to improve processes and product quality.

The role offers hands‑on experience in a dynamic manufacturing environment, exposure to operating tools, and opportunities to learn new manufacturing techniques and technologies while pursuing a relevant degree.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's or Advanced degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related STEM and actively enrolled through the internship/co‑op period.
• Fluency in Microsoft Office Suite programs.
• Experience may be obtained through coursework, projects, or on‑the‑job activities.

Responsibilities

• Assist production teams with technical troubleshooting, process improvement, and documentation updates.
• Collaborate with engineering and production teams to address manufacturing challenges and improve product quality.
• Gain hands‑on experience with operational tools and software used in manufacturing processes.
• Contribute to process optimization projects to boost productivity and reduce costs.
• Learn about and aid in developing new manufacturing techniques and technologies.
