Job summary

RTX in Troy, Ohio is seeking candidates for an onsite production-focused internship/co-op role. You will assist in ensuring processes, equipment, fixtures, routings, and standard work meet production requirements while supporting continuous quality and productivity improvements.

Qualifications

Must be pursuing a Bachelor's or Advanced degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Industrial Engineering or Manufacturing Technology, or related STEM major and enrolled through internship/co-op.
Experience delivering presentations using data visualization tools to communicate production metrics or project updates to cross-functional teams or leadership.

Responsibilities

Assure processes, equipment, fixture design, routings, programming, tooling, and standard work in support of production requirements.
Continuously improve quality and productivity using the CORE Operating System for products and processes including compliance to these processes.
Identify and implement cost savings as related to direct and indirect labor savings, and expense account budgets.
Support activities related to compliance audits including AS9100, NADCAP, etc.
Support Project and Contractor Management
