Job summary

RTX’s Landing Systems unit in Troy, Ohio, is seeking interns, co-ops or early-career engineers for onsite roles. You will support assembly, machining, coating, QA and production metrics through CORE OS compliance and data-driven improvements.

The program emphasizes hands-on learning, collaboration with cross-functional teams, and exposure to aerospace manufacturing processes, with relocation eligibility for eligible candidates.

Qualifications

• Experience in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
• Experience delivering presentations using data visualization tools to communicate production metrics or project updates to cross-functional teams or leadership.

Responsibilities

• Assure processes, equipment, fixture design, routings, programming, tooling, and standard work in support of production requirements.
• Continuously improve quality and productivity using the CORE Operating System for products and processes including compliance to these processes.
• Identify and implement cost savings as related to direct and indirect labor savings, and expense account budgets.
• Support activities related to compliance audits including AS9100, NADCAP, etc.
• Support Project and Contractor Management
