Job summary

RTX Landing Systems in Troy, Ohio designs, tests and manufactures integrated landing systems for aerospace. The role offers hands-on production support, quality improvement and exposure to cost‑saving initiatives in a safety‑driven environment.

The candidate will be pursuing a STEM degree, gain experience across assembly, machining, coatings, and inspection processes, and develop data storytelling skills for cross‑functional teams.

Qualifications

• Must be pursuing Bachelor's or Advanced degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, Industrial Engineering or Manufacturing Technology and actively enrolled through the internship/co‑op session.
• Experience in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
• Experience delivering presentations using data visualization tools to communicate production metrics or project updates to cross‑functional teams or leadership.

Responsibilities

• Assure processes, equipment, fixture design, routings, programming, tooling, and standard work in support of production requirements.
• Continuously improve quality and productivity using the CORE Operating System for products and processes.
• Identify and implement cost savings related to direct and indirect labor savings and budgets.
• Support activities related to compliance audits including AS9100, NADCAP, etc.
• Support Project and Contractor Management
