Job summary

The Atlas Group in Wichita, KS seeks a Senior Manufacturing Engineer to lead new product introductions, develop manufacturing processes, and drive shop floor execution in a fast-paced aerospace environment.

You will collaborate across engineering, quality, supply chain, and operations to deliver robust manufacturing solutions that meet customer quality, delivery, and cost objectives. CATIA V5 and GD&T experience is highly valued.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related engineering discipline is required.
• Minimum 5+ years of manufacturing engineering experience in aerospace or regulated environments.
• Experience developing processes, routings, and production documentation.

Responsibilities

• Review drawings and requirements to develop manufacturing plans.
• Lead NPI manufacturing engineering efforts for design-to-production transitions.
• Develop routers, process plans, and BOMs.
• Create work instructions and manufacturing documentation.
• Provide technical support and troubleshoot shop floor issues.
• Drive Lean and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Collaborate with customers, design, quality, and suppliers.
