Job summary

Senior Flexonics GA Precision in Franklin, WI seeks a detail-oriented Manufacturing Engineer to lead technical manufacturing efforts, translate design requirements into efficient processes, and drive continuous improvement. You will document processes, support NPI, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet cost targets and quality standards.

The role requires a strong foundation in APQP, VWI, tooling design, and CAD/CAM proficiency, with a track record in Lean or Six Sigma

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering preferred or minimum 5+ years of manufacturing engineering experience.
Proficiency in APQP and Visual Work Instructions development.
Strong knowledge of process planning, tooling design, and cellular manufacturing concepts.

Responsibilities

Serve as the primary technical resource for manufacturing projects; ensure compliance with specifications and quality requirements.
Develop APQP documents, Visual Work Instructions, and Work Combination Sheets.
Plan equipment, tooling, and cellular manufacturing concepts for areas of responsibility.
Validate processes meet requirements while managing cost targets.
Create clear work instructions for detail parts; document processes including machining, grinding, EDM, and automation.
Support NPI initiatives with initial manufacturing cycle assistance and validation.
Coordinate tooling design for manufacturing and assembly; interact with suppliers to resolve issues.
